Well a friend of mine the Duke, did a rather nice panda poetry last week which just had to be turned in a game. So I did and made “The game called Bob”, an epic roller coaster of a game featuring Dave the panda.

Anyway go and play “the game called bob“, winner of best panda in a flash based game 2007.

Well these days it always seems a long time since a last blog update. Probably because I haven’t done any drawing now for almost a month, argh ! The problem with that is that when I do get the urge to start drawing again I think I’ve forgotten how to and it takes a while to get back into practice. One thing I have been doing recently is sampling different ciders, in an attempt to find out which cider is best.Cider has strangely come back into fashion mainly because of Magners spending vast amounts of cash promoting Magners Irish cider, whats really weird though is that they don’t sell it in Ireland, in Ireland when I went over the cider was all Bulmers which is an English Cider. My own preference is Bulmers, its slightly less sweet and more importantly its about half the price.
Anyway enough waffle, here’s an abstraction I photoed and painted accompanied by a silent soundtrack.

Well the blog has been slow again, mainly due to work commitments. To make up for this here is my new game Starling Golf a rather odd game of golf featuring the starlings. Its actually a kind of sequel to the Blobuloids. The blobs has now been downloaded an amazing 580,000 times in the past 6 weeks, also rather strangely it seems to be the Chinese and South Americans who have really blobbed themselves out over it.

What has amused me though are some of the comments I have received about the game.

Here are a few:-

“its so great i could play 4 the rest of my life “, hmmmm yes I am kind of scared

“i like playing this game because it makes you think!” , okay.

“this game is good for fat people and im fat”,  right.

“the game needs cheese, cheese is the best food”, well finally a sensible one I do agree on.
