My lounge rendered in 3 dimensional dimenisons.

Well occasionally about 35 times a day I get spammers adding spam comments to my blog. They all get blocked as MoveableTypes spam filters are awesome. However it slightly amused me that one spammer had tried 28 times to enter a spam comment with stuff like “hey I like your site, try new improved Bingo poker/Viagra/Ringtones etc”.

Then out of the blue after about 4 weeks they typed this one ” I just don not have anything to say right now “. The lazy bastard, he can’t even be bothered to write a proper spam comment anymore. It’s outrageous that the quality of spammers these days has dropped so low, they really ought to go back to spam school and brush up on their spamming.

Does anywhere know where I write to complain about this ?

art theft

abstract_cube_art.jpg

A bit of abstract art for a change, I hate abstract art with a passion so I thought I’d have a go at doing some. This image in true abstract fashion is called “Warwick Summer and the death of 3 aardvarks”

Recently one of my fellow art bloggers mr wolf had an interesting topic of art theft, this was about Roy Lichenstien and his blatant reproductions of old comics. Then this week the “artist” Damien Hurst was accused of copyright theft of the painting “penguin daisy” by computer artists Robert Dixon, they are having a bit of a battle now over who did the original. Hurst has exactly the same amount of spots but is slightly larger and coloured, which to me seems quite a coincidence.

You can see the 2 versions about, one is called Daisy or Pengiun and the other by Hurst is called Vallium.
However what someone has failed to point out is “who cares they are both a load of crap”.

You can read the full story over at the Daily Mail.

A quick illustration while watching champions league last night, its amazing as you can watch up to 6 games at the same time !!! I think the bloke is some famous person but I had never heard of him.

I’ve been banging on about pointless research for a while and the latest awards for pointless research were released last week. My own personal favourite was “Ultrasonic Velocity in Cheddar Cheese as Affected by Temperature” a study conducted by a group of spanish scientist and something I should bear in mind next time I make a cheese and marmite.

More importantly and factual is the fact that the most reliable temperature interval to carry out ultrasonic measurements in Cheddar cheese is identified as 0 to 17 °C.
