Another sketchbook scribbling session in pen with acrylic ink colouring. I’ve been commuting to work by feet all week rather than by car and I would really recommend it, its amazing how relaxed you are not being in a traffic jam, also you can guarantee that it’ll always take you the same amount of time.

The one other good advantage is that I now don’t have to bother with the gym membership which I never got round to buying. So my advice to you is walk, leave your car at home.

ps. except when its raining.

A quick cartoon sketch done last night while watching Crime Watch. Acrylic Inks and pen, including sepia pen, which looks suspiciously like orange.

I’ve recently started walking to work instead of driving, it takes about an hour and a half and I worked out I’d walked about the distance of a marathon last week, its great, I listen to drive time and am never in a traffic jam, also it now means with all the extra exersize I don’t need to go to the gym which I never got roudn to joining.

Also the walk goes straight past my favourite pub, er…… enough said !

bbc exhibition

No blogging for a while due to trying to get my self organised to hang up some portraits at the BBC Coventry and Warwickshire HQ in Coventry. The reception area is used for training and internet access for the public, I quite like it not being a gallery as theres always loads of people wandering in and about so they should get noticed by a few people.

They are there for the next 3 weeks if you want to see them in the flesh or you can see the whole project digitally on
the Random Portraits section of my main site . Also there’s a portrait painting tutorial in my tutorial section.
