World Domination

This is obviously a super villain in his super villain den plotting world domination. A quick villain illustration on Sunday afternoon. I was thinking the other day though about this and what exactly is a democracy. If I was an alien who landed in the Uk today this is what I would make of the democracy we have:-
“The people of the UK are ruled by this organisation called the government, they take money off the people and spend it on stuff. To give the people some choice this is called democracy, every 5 years the people get together and have a choice of 2 people they would like to run the country. These 2 people are essentially offering exactly the same thing. They are offering anything which the people would like to hear. When the people have chosen which candidate they wish to run the country the candidate becomes the Prime Minister. He/she goes away and then just does what he/she wants for 5 years until they have another of these votes”.

Another awfully good sketch. Makes me wonder what he’s looking at, down and to his right.

Duke, its obvious he is looking at his super villains pet cat. It is just about to have a wee in his super villain pot plant.

Democrazy indeed! I don’t have to be an alien to have that exact thought here in the colonies. We only have to put up with 4 years at a time, but that really doesn’t seem to make a difference. Neither does voting anymore.

Your sketch is full of intrigue, and there is an unspoken agenda on that face. Beautiful work and narrative!
