The City Walker

Had 20 minutes over lunch for browsing yesterday and had sudden inspiration from on of my friends photos. Doesn’t actually look much like him but that isn’t really the point of these quick ones.
Since starting this aim of 1 drawing or painting everyday I’ve found it does get easier and easier to get something done. My key for this is to not even think about actually doing anything, I usually have a big pack of pens on my desk and leave my sketchbook open. That was if I need a break from the computer, instead of going for a smoke you can start immediately. Makes a massive difference, you don’t actually have to plan anything.
Also finished a new portrait last night, just need some decent light to take a picture (yes Barnze it is finally finished).

Great use of angles. I think drawing/sketching a face from below is the most difficult perspective. Good stuff.
(Of course, I can’t sketch an “X,” so why am I commenting about your work?)
