This is the evil leaders butler henchman. Drawn while watching the prisoner TV series, the background was put in from some pictures I took while visiting Portmeirion. Utterly stunning place to visit, its probably the worlds largest art installation. Clough Williams Ellis built an entire village in North Wales from all the architecture he had seen while visiting other countries, its a total mixture of styles and colours that just shouldn’t work but somehow does.

Speed sketch for illustration friday, completed in under 10 minutes. Used a quick sketch and a bit of photoshop magic to add in the background. I must start drawing more female skecthes as I seem to have a fixation with old looking men in business suits.

I got a new tripod last week and didn’t realise exactly how much of a difference they can make to you photographs. Finally I can take low light pictures that are nicely crisp. I decided to take one in my work area of me and my twin brother at work. As you can see I have used the old strap a satsuma to each eyeball technique.

This is something I recommend to anyone who is such in a creative rut.
